Atlanta Awesomeness

I have quite a few people ask me what to do and see around Atlanta. I am going to type the first things that come to my mind now and come back to add onto the list :)

Things to do in Atlanta:

• AROUND TOWN:
• Sign up and attend the Atlanta BeltLine tours (bus, bike and walking)
• Attend the monthly Party with the Past events (Atlanta History Center)
• Attend any and every festival

• BUCKHEAD: 
• Talk a walk in the beautiful neighbor of Peachtree Hills and grab lunch, dinner or just a dinner on the awesome patio at Treehouse
• Pop into the Peachtree Road Farmers Market on Saturday mornings and a post-market lunch at La Fonda or Fellini’s Pizza
• Lunch in Buckhead at Souper Jenny’s and post-lunch shopping around the area 

• DECATUR: 
• Visit the beautiful Decatur Kitchen Gardens (sign up the volunteer) 
• Explore downtown Decatur and enjoy a bite to eat at FARM Burger or Chai Pani  

• MIDTOWN:
• Take a morning walk on the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trial to brunch at Highland Bakery
• Schedule and take a tour of Ponce City Market
• Spend time at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens (great seasonal events)
• Early morning visit to Caribou Coffee on 10th street then take your cup of joe to Piedmont Park for a walk and the sunrise over the duck pond
• Enjoy a picnic dinner at Piedmont Park with a frisbee, friends, the sunset and maybe some pups
• Explore the HIGH Museum 

• WEST MIDTOWN:
• Grab an evening dinner at Monday Night Brewery (open from Tasting & Tours on Monday and Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons) then head to Antico for a delicious pizza dinner
• Explore the White Provisions area and make sure to end the day watching the sunset at JCT’s beautiful outdoor bar area
