New job. Day 2. #anappleaday A workplace w/this many free apples for their employees has to be incredible. @pardot Thank you for training me, teaching me and fueling me! (Taken with Instagram at Pardot)
The World in Atlanta #anappleaday! I have been talking about going to the Dekalb Farmers Market for two years now. Literally. Today @kaitlyndennihy made it a reality :) The market is yet another reason to love Atlanta. I came back with just a few of my favorite things, but even more thankful for time with great people. @katelarson12 (Taken with Instagram)
Yesterday beach day #anappleaday Words cannot express the joy of family time in the sunshine. Morning walks, porch chats, my nephew’s first time in the ocean, @kelakel bringing me an apple on the beach, walks, relaxing, my little cousins’ performances, falling fast asleep on the sofa surrounded by loved ones. Wonderful! (Taken with Instagram)
Wanna stay #anappleaday This afternoon I walked out of the office to go to physical therapy, but wished I could have stayed a bit longer. The beer cart was getting set up and everyone seemed to be in good spirits. The elevator doors closed as I took the first few bites of a delicious apple from @leesnewton. I remember today’s blessings and smiled. Thanks for the great Friday @engauge before I head to the beach for a few days! (Taken with Instagram)
Distance makes the heart grow fonder #anappleaday My little sister @meggiemellie has been in South Africa since May. She is on a plane headed back to the USA as I type this post. I love her and realized how much I take the ability to easily communicate with her when she is close by. We cannot wait to have her back! Today I also received a wonderful card from @kalliell. A friend that I know I can always count on… no whatever what states or places we live in. Another friend told me more news that I cause me to not see them as much. I am not worried because friends and family that mean so much stick around no matter the distance. Right @kelakel? :) (Taken with Instagram)
Path #anappleaday Each step is important yet you can only clearly see your current step. Blurry uncertainly can cause anxiety. I was glad to be reminded of Philippians 4:6-7 today. (Taken with Instagram)
Mountain getaway #anappleaday I decided it was the perfect time for a little snack as we moved from the lake shore to the pool yesterday afternoon. I took a few bites and then heard… “I am so glad you are eating an apple right now.” I was encouraged to take a photo as we sat by the pool. This weekend has been encouraging because I know I have support and guidance from friends around me. Whether it be boys, work, shopping or even taking a photo of my apple, it is so sweet to have friends willing to give you insight & advice. Thanks friends :) (Taken with Instagram)
Keep it simple #anappleaday There is so much I want to say. However, I am going to take @kylesteed’s advice tonight and keep it simple… Work for God. Only He satisfies. (Taken with Instagram)
Getting carried away #anappleaday Soooo maybe I took a few photos of my apple during my walk across Peachtree Street to Colony Square ;) The apple was delicious, the weather was perfect and I was energized from a research interview I had just had over coffee. The woman doing the research asked me a ton of questions. I like questions. They make you think. The big question she is asking to millennials: What do you define as leadership? And who is a leader that you can think of in our generation? I would love to hear your thoughts. (Taken with Instagram)
Back at it #anappleaday I have been thinking about resurfacing my #anappleaday posts :) I enjoyed the beautiful sunshine and my apple as I walked to through Midtown today. The light creates shadows. The shadows follow you. They hide and come back again. Well, my posts were hidden and they are coming back! (Taken with Instagram)
Thanks @davidnperez for bringing #digengauge Sublime doughnuts! #anappleaday He selected apple caramel for me :) (Taken with Instagram at Engauge)
